Common Questions
Q1: What stands out first when looking at this saree?
The embroidery is likely to be the first thing most people notice. Instead of a printed pattern, the design has been created using embroidered detailing along with thread work. They are a major part of the overall look of the saree.
Q2: Is the blouse already stitched?
No, the blouse piece is delivered unstitched. This gives the customer the choice later on how the blouse should be stitched, the preferred sleeve length, the shape of the neckline and the overall fit.
Q3: What type of saree category does this belong to?
The saree is listed under the handloom category. It is also categorised as festive wear, which means it has been positioned for celebrations and occasion dressing rather than everyday use.
Q4: How is this different from a printed saree?
The pattern is embroidered here. A printed saree is one which is based on printed motifs or designs but this saree takes the help of embroidery and thread work as a part of the detailing visible on the fabric.
Q5: What is the recommended way to maintain the saree?
Dry cleaning care label attached to this product. That recommendation helps to maintain the fabric and the detailing over time.
