Building on the strong performance of its predecessor, a powerful automotive influence drives Fall/Winter 2015’s new REDREV T line designed for Ferrari’s dedicated race fans. Redrev T sports a bolder, more ergonomic silhouette, while a continuous flow of new, deep honeycomb texturing inspired by the layered structure of a race car’s monocoque defines the strap, sides of the case, and the matte black or coloured dial. Secured by a brushed metal tongue buckle, the fully integrated, matte/polished silicone strap features grooves that resemble the air intakes on a race car, a bold contrasting Scuderia Ferrari logo and Scudetto-shaped button/keeper. The round matte finish 44mm case with screw-in back is constructed of stainless steel wrapped in a tough, impact-resistant coloured thermoplastic, topped by a stainless steel or blue or black ion-plated stainless steel sport bezel and signature Cavallino-etched crown. Bright applied details in shapes suggestive of brake calliper and engine plate structures add clever automotive character to the multi-level dials of the 3-hand models, while the multi-function dials sport one or more contrasting-colour sub dials. In the sub dials, inspired by the gauges on a Ferrari dashboard, the hands almost appear to be floating. The REDREV T line is equipped by two quartz-powered engines, a 3-hand with date display, and a multi-function with day/date/24-hour time indication.
