Scuderia Ferrari Orologi is now introducing a line for the bold and daring, inspired by classic edgy designs and exciting details. KERS stands for Kinetic Energy Recovery System, the cutting-edge technology developed by Ferrari to recover energy wasted in braking, and Kers Xtreme takes it to a whole new level. Now, gearing up for Fall/Winter 2017, multi-function models are sporting black or red silicone straps that mimics the same design feature of the rigid edges on the bezel, or stainless steel link bracelet. The round 48mm Kers Xtreme brushed metal case is designed with extended sport lugs and crown protector. Its fixed coin-edge anodized aluminum black bezel sports 5 Arabic numerals in the Scuderia Ferrari “fast” font, painted white, blue or team red with contrasting markers. On the multi-level dials, the day/date/24-hour subdials are accented with blue, white or team red accents. The Kers Xtreme collection are presented on silicone designs with red, black or blue stitching and stainless steel link bracelet. Intensifying the striking color contrast, the skeleton hour/minute hands match the color of the strap stitching and the numerals on the bezel, while the needle thin center-mounted seconds hand with cut out Scudetto counterbalance is painted white or red, with the classic yellow Scudetto shield sitting at 3 o’clock. The silicone straps and bracelet are free-falling, rather than integrated, for better fit and function with the impressively oversized case. Precise 3-hand and multi-function quartz engines. Water resistant to 50 meters/5 ATM. 2-year limited international warranty.
