Nafeesa is a short kurti in 100% pure cotton, hand block printed with large open florals and trailing leaves in white across a warm mustard yellow ground, drawn loose and generous so the motifs read as brushwork rather than as a tight repeat. The neckline is a soft V, the sleeves run full length and finish plain at the wrist, and the body falls easy over the hip rather than gripping it. Side slits at the hem keep it comfortable over trousers and a concealed side zip gets you into it. Because the print is applied with wooden blocks by hand, the white lifts and thins in places across the yellow, and those variations are the mark of the process. The cotton is light, breathable and quick to dry. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear. There is no lining, so the mustard reads a shade lighter against skin in bright light.
