Aditi is a short kurti in 100% cotton, hand block printed with a dense floral jaal in red and mustard across a deep green ground, so the repeat covers the whole body with almost no plain cloth showing. It hangs from fine noodle straps and is cut close through the bust and waist, with a laced corset panel across the open back that you tighten to your own shape. Side slits at the hem keep it easy over trousers. Because the print is applied by hand with wooden blocks, no two pieces line up identically, and small irregularities in the motif are the mark of the process rather than a fault. The cotton is soft against the skin and dries quickly, which is what makes it wearable in real heat. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear.
