Sneha is a long kurti in 100% cotton, hand block printed on an indigo blue ground with ivory heart motifs scattered across a finely dotted field, so the pattern reads as texture from a distance and as a motif up close. The neckline is a clean square, the sleeves run full length, and the body is shaped with panelled seams rather than darts. A concealed side zip lets you get into it, and the back is drawn in with a laced corset panel you tighten yourself. Being a hand block print, the placement varies slightly from piece to piece, and the small irregularities in the motif are the mark of the process. The cotton is light and breathable, and indigo softens attractively with each wash rather than fading flat. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear. The square neck sits high enough to wear without a layer underneath.
