Reema is a long kurti in 100% cotton, hand block printed with large paisley motifs in grey and ivory across a black ground, scaled big enough that a single kairi fills most of the front panel. The neckline is a clean square, the sleeves run full length and gather slightly at the cuff, and panelled seams shape the body through the waist. A concealed side zip gets you into it and the back is drawn in with a laced corset panel you tighten to your own shape. Because the print is applied by hand with wooden blocks, the motifs do not repeat identically and the small shifts in register are the mark of the process rather than a flaw. The cotton stays breathable despite the dark ground. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear. The dark ground makes this the most forgiving piece here to wear through a long day.
