Noira is a short kurti in 100% cotton built on a kantha-textured black base, where fine running stitch lines run vertically through the cloth and give it a subtle ribbed surface before any print is applied. Over that sit large open white florals and buds, drawn in outline so the black shows through the petals. The neckline is a V, the sleeves run full length and flare into a wide open cuff, and panelled seams shape the body through the waist. The back is fully open and closed with a laced corset panel you pull to your own fit, which is where the shaping actually comes from. The kantha texture means the cloth holds its line rather than clinging, and there is no lining behind the print. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear. The corset lacing is the only closure at the back, so there is no zip to fight with.
