Neha is a short kurti in 100% cotton, hand block printed with a traditional boota motif in cream and soft mauve set in even rows across a black ground, the small upright flower-and-leaf sprig that Rajasthani block printing has used for generations. It hangs from fine noodle straps onto a straight square front, and panelled seams shape the body close through the bust and waist. A concealed side zip gets you into it, the back is drawn together with a laced corset panel you tighten to your own shape, and side slits at the hem keep it easy over trousers. Because each boota is stamped by hand, the spacing drifts slightly across the body and the ink varies in density from one motif to the next. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear. There is no lining, and the straps are fixed rather than adjustable at the shoulder.
