Yasha is a fitted sleeveless top in Kalamkari printed cotton, carrying dense paisley forms in beige and teal across a black ground with the fine linear detailing that Kalamkari is known for, drawn so close together that the black survives only as outline. It hangs from thin shoulder straps onto a straight square front, and the back is cut fully open and drawn together with corset lacing you pull to your own fit, which is where all the shaping comes from. The hem sits at the high hip rather than cropping short. Kalamkari is built up in several passes by hand, so the register shifts and the ink varies in density from one motif to the next. Cotton this fine stays breathable even fitted this close. Individually tailored by hand and finished ready to wear. There is no lining, and the corset lacing is the only closure at the back.
