Crafted on an orange reddish khaddar the Vari Da Bagh cushion consists of an all over design that has a sizeable pattern with the main pattern being a group of three-four small concentric diamonds. In West Punjab, following the birth of a boy, it was customary to start a Vari-Da- Bagh, and the grandmother would place the first stitch. This would be later handed to the boy’s bride on their wedding day. This tradition is institutionalised with this beautifully crafted piece by Mirooh.
