The Sumukh cushion is one of the mostplayful and colourful pieces from the collection. Fondly referred to as panchranga which means Five Colors this cushion is decorated with chevrons of five different colors that come together seamlessly. The colors represent PunjabThe Land Of Rivers that is is known for and is also a piece that epitomizes the craft of Phulkari. The Phulkari work also consists of Kanchan, a traditional motif of triple V shaped lines in four directions forming a four side-faced design with four corners forming one motif.
