When you live in a city where winter is really just a few weeks of chilly breeze (and that’s if you consider 15 degrees chilly), a leather jacket is as useful in your closet as a pair of sheep skin boots. So, for someone who has long harboured a love for layers, devising a formula that allowed me to wear them even when temperatures were at an all-time high was crucial and what I came up with was too good to keep to myself. When I’m looking for layers, I ask myself these questions – Is the fabric breathable? Are the colours and prints suited to the summer? Is the silhouette roomy enough? If the answer to all of these is yes, I know I have a winner.
