A label brought to life by Ankur and Priyanka Modi more than a decade and a half ago, features feminine silhouettes that focus on style and comfort alike. Their winter/festive 2018 collection called ‘Gypset’ was a tribute to Julia Chaplin. Urbane silhouettes in earthy hues with ethnic hints ruled the runway for AM:PM.

With fabrics like silk, organza and wool forming the canvas for intricate embroideries punctuated with leather and stones, the designer duo set the bar high for the winter/festive season. Inaugurating by laidback ensembles, the show graduated to heavily layered silhouettes rendering rustic motifs. A rich melange of tradition and contemporary took centre stage at their show.

Scalloped hems, flowy cuts and refined lapels pronounced feminity for the collection. The skilful interplay of colours, textures and textiles resulted in free spirited yet incredibly chic pieces that appeal to the modern globetrotting gypsy.
